In March 2020 the Central State Archives of the City of Moscow purchased applications in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in times of the unfavorable epidemiological situation.

Several large buildings of the Central State Archive of Moscow are occupied by documents on the history of the city and its inhabitants. The Central State Archive’s funds contain such treasures of history as a video chronicle of the reconstruction of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, a musical autograph of an unknown work by Dmitry Shostakovich, photographs of Moscow 50 years and 100 years ago and much more.
