Potok Inter represented at MEDICA the latest decontamination air solutions for medical facilities

Scientific-manufacturing company “Potok Inter” shared experience in air decontamination at MEDICA, the world’s largest medical fair, which was held in Dusseldorf (Germany) from 16th to 19th November 2020.

As of today, more than 9 million people have been infected with a new coronavirus: inability to mitigate transmission over air shuts down businesses all over the world. But the worst is the fact that the COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated the most critical problem in healthcare sector – hospital-acquired infections (HIV). Traditional ways against airborne microorganisms – ozon, UV-light, HEPA-filters proved to be either ineffective or have limitations.

Potok technology, however, destroys SARS-CoV-2 and all other viruses, bacteria and mold. At the same time, it decreases the risk of nosocomial infections, increases treatment effectiveness, and shorten the recovery and rehabilitation period of patients, effectively deals with antibiotic resistance of microorganisms.

Potok Inter has been producing and selling air decontamination devices since 1994 under patented technology called “Potok”, which has no analogies in the world. It is the only air decontamination technology used in space (Russian and American segments), based on a physical method of destroying microorganisms and viruses called cell membrane electroporation.

Potok has excellent prospects in international markets, as the interest in the technology of air decontamination is steadily growing in the world. Potok is a product with a huge export potential due to its serious competitive advantages. It meets the principles of sustainable development: it does not use consumables, it has low energy consumption, does not require special maintenance, it is absolutely human and environment friendly.

We have extensive experience in medicine: it has more than 3500 installations in medical institutions (operating theaters, HIV and oncology wards, intensive care units, bandage and burn wards, emergency rooms, tuberculosis and infectious disease wards etc.). In addition, full-scale tests of Potok equipment were successfully conducted in Germany, Spain, France, Hungary, Korea, Lebanon etc.

The representatives of the company discussed the technology, its advantages, demonstrated integration case studies, consulted and developed tailor-made technical solutions.
