Potok Inter scientific and production company was founded in 1994 by Russian scientists, who had invented the Potok air decontamination technology, authors of scientific works and methodical instructions and holders of numerous patents: E.V. Volodina and A.V. Nagolkin.
The theoretical work of the scientists on the microbiological state of the air during long-term spaceflights was put into practice at the Mir station.
Equipment developed using the Potok technology was delivered there for the first time to fight mold and other dangerous microorganisms. Today, similar equipment is used by Russian cosmonauts and NASA astronauts at the ISS.
In addition to space technologies, Potok Inter has been dealing with problems on Earth for many years.
For more than 20 years, the company has been conducting research
and developing and manufacturing equipment for healthcare facilities, especially for rooms where air purity is a matter of life and death.
