A new hematological housing at the Botkin Hospital with POTOK equipment has opened

On February 4, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin inspected the hematological housing of the City Clinical Hospital named after S.P. Botkin, where major maintenance was completed. POTOK equipment, in particular, laminar flow air decontamination units, in-duct air decontamination units, is responsible for the sterile cleanliness of indoor air.

The condition of patients with blood diseases requires the maintenance of special conditions in the wards, any infection can lead to serious complications.

To significantly reduce the risk of post-operative complications, to increase the effectiveness of treatment, it is necessary to constantly maintain a state of ideal, almost sterile cleanliness. Potok equipment successfully solves this problem, destroying any strains of bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics. The equipment will significantly reduce the risk of infection with nosocomial infections, increase the effectiveness of treatment.

In the single boxes of the transplantation unit with the POTOK equipment, it will be possible to treat patients who are in a state of agranulocytosis (absence of leukocytes) for more than 30 days, to carry out transplantation of allogeneic and autologous hematopoietic stem cells.

“The Botkin Hospital is one of the largest hospitals in Russia and in Europe, but it is important that it is not only the largest, but it must be one of the best clinics. To do this, we are conducting a major reconstruction of this clinic, the first stage has come to an end. This year it will be completed. Ultramodern, with good equipment. It will also provide cancer care, "said Moscow Mayor Sobyanin.
